[He's annoyed with the young man, but he doesn't really seem like he wants to help. So at the herd of monsters, Flynn uses Holy Lance and takes down a good swatch of them.
With that he calls over to the other.]
Do you see the portal? Mind stepping out so we can end this?
[If this had been back home, he would have snapped to get the other to fall in line, but he's not a knight and not from his world. This is just a memory of a really tough fight.]
[Flynn tells him as he continues to fight and kill the onslaught of different types of monsters. He doesn't seem bothered, and his stamina is good as he continues to push forward.]

We only have to stay alive until reinforcements arrive, or until we can find a portal to get out of here.
[But the portal hadn't shown up yet. He was hoping it would at least so they could get out.]

When a monster comes too close he quickly moves to swing a couple of blade shaped windblasts in its general direction, causing it to fly backwards.]
