The flaming claymore swings out easily in a wide arc, sending fire spreading out in front of it, then he brings the weapon up over his head and down to chase flames across the ground. So, this is your memory. How is it supposed to go?
[He wheels round to find his next target. Somehow, though the flames do damage to the attacking creatures and set the grass alight, he has enough control to avoid setting anything else on fire.]
My friend Yuri comes in and provides back up with his friends.
[Flynn cuts down a few more smaller monsters and uses his shield to block the tusks of a larger pig looking enemy. He pushes it back and his blade glows as he starts to add in quick bursts of damage to it, until the pig's legs buckle and it crashes down.]
Then we use their weapon and it gets rid of all the monsters. But, obviously they aren't here and won't show up--
[He thrusts his sword out catching a plant looking enemy with two long arms in the middle.]
--So because that won't happen here we need to find the exit from the memory.
[Obviously it isn't just the two of them here. There are others and this is Flynn's memory... so what is the other man thinking? Diluc pushes back a few more of their would-be assailants with a blast of fire, sending them skittering away from the heat and flames. Easier to beat than Abyss mages, at least.]
He arrived when it happened in reality, so if this goes on long enough...
[Flynn just keeps fighting and doing the things like he did in the memory, in fact he was put smack dab in it and didn't realize what was going on until Diluc showed up and shook him loose. He looks at Diluc and motions to the portal.]
You would think so--
That's why we should look for a portal opening to get out because I don't know if I can trust this to end on it's own.
