Sounds like you got a lot of work ahead of you when you head back home. Then again, so do I.

[he smiles as he continues.]

I'm Marshal of the Crownsguard of Lucis - name's Cor Leonis. What's your name, Sir Knight?

[Maybe he could ask Yuri as a way to get more hang out time.]

Our world just nearly ended, if it wasn't for a friend and his friends, we'd be having a different conversation. So, there is definitely a ton to do when I go back.

[He smiles and offers his hand for a shake.]

It's nice to meet you Mr. Leonis, I'm Flynn Scifo. I'm not sure about your title, but I'd love to hear more.

[Cor happily shakes the offered hand, his grip warm and firm.]

Pleasure to meet you, Sir Scifo. Unless you just want to be called Flynn when not on duty? As for my title, I'm basically the person in charge of the royal guard, answering only to the King and the King's Shield.

Oh. Please just call me Flynn.

[He listens and grips Cor's hand giving it a firm shake before letting. He turned back towards the technology display and then hummed gently.]

No we aren't strangers to it. If it wasn't for Yuri and his friends figuring it out, then we wouldn't have even known anything was wrong.

[Alexei would have done more and maybe worse things. He looked over at Cor and shook his head and smiled.]

I'm proud of everything he accomplished.

[Cor blinks in surprise for a brief moment.]

Wait...you know that flirt? Huh...never thought that he would be a world-saving kind of hero.

[He shakes his head in disbelief. But the way Flynn talked about him hints at them being good friends, at least. Which is...a good thing. He thinks.]

[Now it's Flynn's turn to look surprised.]

Flirt? Oh no. Don't tell me...

[Flynn pressed a hand to his forehead looking a little put upon.]

He can be a smooth talker for sure. But, no, he's one of the people that came up with the way to save our world.

[Cor chuckles in a bemused manner.]

So he's one of those friends for you, huh? I almost feel sorry for you. Still, it's comforting to know that he's a good man at heart...as you are, too, it seems.

We grew up together and shared a room together for a long time. He's a good person that trouble consistently likes to find.

He can't stay still at all, and that makes it hard to have his back.

[Flynn sighs and shakes his head, smiling after a second.]

I wouldn't have him any other way. We keep each other honest.

Childhood friend that tends to be found by trouble, huh? I can imagine how much he must've made you fuss over him.

[A warm, tiny smile graces his face.]

I can somewhat see it. He may have been a flirt, but he doesn't seem to be a bad sort. Or just a jerk in general.

Yes. I did a lot of nagging apparently, but it never came from a bad place. After all, we promised to change things in the empire by working towards it from different places.

[He rubs the back of his neck.]

He's a really great person who doesn't give himself enough credit for the amazing things he's done.

Heh...sounds like some folks from back home, whenever they fussed over me.

[Though there's a slight bittersweet tinge to his words.]

Him, humble? Sorry, but I find that a little hard to believe.

They must have been really important to you.

[Flynn hears that note, and feels that way about a few people himself. Especially towards how he couldn't help.]

He hardly takes credit for anything he did. In fact, I tried to get him to take credit for everything he did for the world, and he wouldn't do it.

I felt very guilty that people assumed I did those things.

[Flynn still frowns and looks down at the ring on his hand.]

I don't like taking credit for something someone else did, but he said, and I quote "I can do those things because you have my back."
