The mechanical vehicles on the ground, the communication devices, how the city's lit up at night - all of that is no different than most of the towns and cities back on my homeworld. You sound like you're form one of those worlds, however, whose magic is a lot more common and free-flowing.

I wish that were true. If people didn't have blastia then the artes and structures that needed the power wouldn't have worked. Also, we would have been at a disadvantage when fighting monsters and protecting people.
